The Salt Lake Artist Market

I am going to to be at the SLC artist market every Saturday 8-1 through the rest of the season, which ends October 22nd.  The market is in downtown SLC at Pioneer Park and you can find me near the southwest corner.   I will have some really fun jewelry for you to select from, including many photos of the jewelry you see here on my blog.  If you want something really special I do custom orders but need about 6 weeks notice.  Stop by my booth to look or just to say hi.  I am trying to arrange some class room space to teach how to make some of the jewelry from my blog, but that will be later in the year.  Probably late October or early November

My Heart is ticking

I am so happy because I just found out recently that my hearts are going to be in an upcoming issue of Belle Armoire Jewelry.  Look for them in the Decemeber 2011 issue or March of 2012.  I had a lot of fun making these hearts and no two are alike.  I will be taking these to Art-is-You in Petaluma, CA.  To find the website just click on this link and you will be directed there.    I highly recommend going to art retreats because you have the opportunity to make so many new connections with people and make long lasting friendships. You get to meet some really great instructors and learn the latest techniques in all mediums.  I like to paint and do collage and this time I have no jewelry classes.  I am spreading my wings a bit and branching out to try some other mediums.

Art-is-You Petaluma

I have been busy getting  ready for the Art-is-You retreat that is in Petaluma, CA.  It starts Sept 22-27 and it is the first one on the west coast.  The hosts are Sallianne and Ellen and although we haven't met they are so great at organizing this event and have all kinds of fun activities planned for the attendees.  I am taking lots of classes with really great instructors such as JoAnna Pierotti who is teaching an art doll class and her blog is at: : and Micheal deMeng's Pretty Vial Things, his blog is at:  I am hoping to learn lots of new techniques that I may be able to use in my jewelry, but mostly I am just going for fun and to hang out with some really great friends I met at the Art and Soul retreat  in Las Vegas last year.   I will have a booth in Petaluma and some of the pieces I will be selling are pictured above.  If you are interested in attending this creative event the web address is:
